Board Meeting Minutes
September 15, 2008
A meeting of the HOPE Board of Directors and members was held on September 15, 2008 at 12pm at the Coffman Center in Harrison, Arkansas. The following members were present:
Felicia Pegueros, Rebekah Loctscher, Vicki Godin, Deanna DeWitt, Jerry Jones, Beverly Hefley, Joseph Koenig. Chairperson-George Holcomb, Vice-Chairperson- Misti Crosley, Secretary-Vekcey Feroe, Treasurer- Dolly Garrison.
Opening:
Misti Crosley called the meeting to order.
Minutes:
No formal minutes to approve.
Business:
Jerry Jones moved for nomination slate to be accepted as is. Misti Crosley seconded the motion. The motion passed.
George Holcomb moved to adopt by-laws. Dolly Garrison seconded the motion. The motion passed.
Misty Crosley moved to set the membership fee at $25 a year. Deanna DeWitt seconded the motion. The motion passed.
Misti Crosley moved to have Dolly Garrison set up PO Box, with her own money and be reimbursed, also to set needed bank account @ First National Bank of Green Forest. Deanna DeWitt seconded the motion. The motion passed.
Dolly Garrison moved to set up a Membership Committee consisting of the following people: Rebekah Loetscher, Vekcey Feroe, Lori Adkins-pending. R. Loetscher chairs the committee. Deanna DeWitt seconded the motion. The motion passed.
Misti Crosley moved to contact state to make continuum available. Jerry Jones seconded the motion. The motion passed. Misti will contact state.
Dolly Garrison moved to set up a Development Committee: To consist of the following people: Misti Crosley-chair, Vicki Godin, Felica Pegueros, Beverly Hefley. Misti Crosley seconded the motion. The motion passed.
Deanna DeWitt moved to set up a Long-Term Planning Committee. To consist of the following people: George Holcomb-chair, Dolly Garrison, Anita Gilbert-pending, Naomi Wilson-pending. Rebekah Loescher seconded it. The motion passed.
Next Meeting:
The next board meeting is scheduled for October 20, 2008 @ 12:15 @ The Coffman Center in the upstairs meeting room.
